Phoenix Lore has died.  It is only fitting that it receives a eulogy.

Farewell Phoenix Lore. For a brief moment your fires burned brightly. Now, as the last smoldering embers are scattered by the winds, your fires allowed to die before their time, we gather to say farewell.  Your potential was far from fulfilled. So many articles that were never read, so much art that will never see the light of day, so many adventurers that will never be played, so many columns that were never written, so much vile criticism that was never received, it was not to be. But your memory will live on, at least as long as the web hosting fees are paid.

I know the Mathews Genesis range of bows do not have fixed drawlengths.  If you buy a few and set them at different draw weights 20, 30 & 40 you should be able to use them for most novices.
by the way...

He was a great man and his work directly and indirectly contributed to many forms of media. Many writers were inspired by D&D. Thanks to his work some of out notions of commonplace fantasy came into exsistance. He will be dearly missed.

Hi, In my way to bring new players to the game I find myself playng more and more 4 monsters games new players semms to enjoy more the game if sided by a veteran player who helps them. In fact, I usually teach the game in 1 on 1 game during wich I teach rules and suggest actions explaining why to the new player, then the next 2 or 3 games are 4 players games, with an experienced player and a newbie per side.

So, I would ask for suggestions on wich monsters to field side by side. This should not be aimed to winning, but more oriented to dice economy. I dont need very competitive armied to teach the game, but instead couples of monsters that dont need too much dice to smash along, allowing to use both without too much hassle.

Thanks in advance :

i would hazard a guess that living in a regular home situtated in a well designed neighborhood that minimizes car use would be better off than an enertia home built in the ever-sprawling suburbs.
