Announcement for Icebound
« on: June 15, 2008, 05:16:12 PM »

Okay folks, I have a few announcements to make.

1) We are pulling the development of the baseline Icebound setting in-house for the time being. Some wonderful ideas have been put forward here, and they have helped us to shape the world concept and decide upon certain key elements. Now we need to put these together into a comprehensive gazeteer. Watch these forums for updates on progress.

2) Icebound will be a 3.5e campaign setting.

3) We will be actively soliciting adventures, developed locations, fiction, and other items for the setting from the community. These contributions must work within the confines of the gazeteer once it is presented.

4) Contributions made to Icebound via the forums will be considered public and available for incorporation. As Icebound has been an open project to date, withdrawal of material posted here adversely affects the process and will not be allowed, though you may still use your ideas elsewhere as well. If you wish to submit a contribution that you want to be retractable, please use the submissions box (submissions@phoneixlore.com) rather than these forums.

Thanks everyone for the ideas you have contributed so far. I hope to see lots of great discussion here as this campaign develops!
