I'm working on a one-on-one game with my wife using GURPS 4e rules, it will be a Back to the Future-esque campaign, meaning she will be playing a high school student who gets a hold of a time traveling 1981 De Lorean DMC-12...I should point out that this isn't going to be a strict re-interperation of the movies at all.
The Campaign starts out with our intrepid, young hero receiving in the mail a key to a storage shed (there is no return address and the post mark says that it was mailed from in town)...
Upon checking out the Storage shed, the hero discovers that there is a rather beat-up looking De Lorean in there that's been heavily modified and is full of crazy electronics (the back seat is gone because of it), the car seems to be registered in the hero's name and the tags appear to be current.
San Eligio, CA Population: 10,000ish
San Eligio is a smallish town in California's Central Valley, where it isn't too far from the ocean, mountains, or Redwood forest. It is a primarily agricultural community, though there is some manufacturing industry there as well. San Eligio is firmly middle-classed, though there are cliques within the community that can cause class and racial differences. San Eligio has an emerging gang problem, they are coming in from larger cities in the area and are setting up shop and bringing with them an increase in crime and drug-use. Even with all of its problems, San Eligio is still a pretty good place to raise your kids, though you should lock your doors at night.
I'll post more as I think of it, it's still a campaign very much in the general ideas phase...

Sounds awesome! Does this car have a cloaking device? If so, I want one!

Camouflage it as an elephant? Well, the trunk of a De Lorean and the trunk of an elephant are on the same end...

The cloaking device would cut down on the need to parallel park.

Now, just to make sure we're on the same page...by cloaking device, you do mean a machine that is meant to put a cloak and fasten it, on a person...right? ;-)

What strikes me the most while reading your post is the fact that you are having a good time playing with your wife. The movie you are talking about sounds interesting. Yeah, I think it would be a lot better if the car has a cloaking device or stealth. If all cars in real life has that ability, I guess that will be awesome! _________________ Super Bowl Hotels

the system is still in development and may change, so lets table this discussion until I can talk about the system with more confidence that what I say will hold true. What I said above though as a very general concept should hold intact.
Thanks.
