A while back, someone said that "Icebound" is an inappropriate name for the setting. I've come to agree. It's completely misleading. Yes, I've read the Gezateer. I just haven't read it recently.
How is it misleading? The population is in a land dominated by snow and ice and pretty much cut off from anything else.

By the way, I'm curious why you mentioned the caps lock issue if no one here used caps lock?
Someone did use it, Ascendant, just not you.

Just to be clear, since the ideas have been soundly rejected, I'm officially withdrawing my Canton of the Frozen God and Frost Defender and all information associated with them to use for my own projects.

I don't think the ideas were rejected, at least not that I saw.

While you very much welcome to do with what you wish of your IP, no one actually said nope that isn't going to work period. You seem to take much of any constructive criticism to offense a large portion of the time. This is open discussion and the gazeteer is supposed to be a guiding document on things created for Icebound. I am sorry that your intriguing contributions will be left separate from this open project and thank you for your input on the subjects at large. AMQ

You always have that option, Ascendant. Just to be clear, myself, however, I went back and reread the thread. I saw no rejection, sound or otherwise, just two questions asking for clarification and one question that did not sound so much like rejection as an attempt at making sure that all were on the same page. Maybe something was misread or misspoken? This next part is for everyone. I realize that creation is a very personal thing and the real and perceived rejection of creations can be hurtful, but maybe we could all step back a little? The way that things are being phrased in these threads has a tendency to be confrontational, and, as I requested the last time I felt compelled to say something about it, being argumentative only makes the entire thread uncomfortable.

OK I think everyone needs a time out. None of this bickering is in any way productive from ALL parties involved.
